Weather update for Sunday: We plan on being open today despite the questionable forecast. I will post if the situation changes.
We are opening for the start of pumpkin picking this weekend 10-4 Saturday & Sunday. We will now be open weekends 10-4 until the pumpkin supply runs out sometime in the end of October. The format will be like the last year with the wheel barrow special. The price is $80(same as last year) for a wheel barrow full of pumpkins and $30 extra if you are using the handle bars as part of your load. We have two large PYO patchs to choose from, there are all types and kinds of pumpkins and gourds to pick. Picking is done off the vine, you clip. The most authentic experience is always in the beginning as the patch has not been picked yet. New and exciting this year we have a corn maze as an extra attraction ($5/head). Sunflower picking has started with many beautiful blooms to choose from($2/head). Raspberry picking on our expanded patch has also already begun($7/pint). It is a good fall raspberry year. Serious pickers should come early on Saturday morning. Pumpkins and small gourds are also for sale individually by the pound. The winter squash box special is also available starting this weekend at $37/ 40 pound bushel. Fall strawberries this year will not be available as we had problems with the crop.
Our pumpkin stand (our old strawberry shack) is located 1 mile south of the Rt 72 and Rt4 intersection on Rt 72. Cash or credit accepted. Please no dogs allowed.
